St Weonards Primary School hopes that by becoming the first school in the county to offer Flexi-Schooling (offering part-time lessons for home-schooled pupils) would increase it’s numbers and enable it to stay open.

Peter Box (Executive Head) of Herefordshire Marches Federation of Academies (HMFA) explained the new plans during his interview with Andrew Easton (BBC Hereford & Worcester) broadcast Monday 18th December, 2017.

At this point Herefordshire is quite an exciting place to be  – with the development of the road network and  the University. Now is not the time to be closing a school, particularly an Outstanding school…

If you are interested in flexible schooling, please email peterboxflexischooling@gmail.com .

Please be aware that St Weonards Primary School does and will continue to provide education for full-time pupils. It is hoped that by offering Flexi-Schooling and being part of the HMFA Multi-Academy Trust it will be saved from closure.
